John Galliano Debut at Maison Martin Margiela

While we were all playing critics of the Golden Globe Awards most of us missed the event that marked John Galliano's return to fashion; John Galliano's debut of being creative director of Maison Martin Margiela. (Which recently changed to just 'Maison Margeila')  Join me on the runway for Spring 2015 Haute Couture Collection.
The collection was very understated for Galliano, who is best known for his dramatic eye for fashion. The runway hosted a gathering of 100 spectators and a 24 look collection, which stayed focused on Margiela's signature theme- deconstruction. Through this collection his designs spoke words of a humble yet haunting apologies.
Demonic embellishments, blood red colour palettes and masked monarches set the scene for a dark tale... notably similiar to John Galliano's own fall from King of Fashion. Although I won't go into why he exited from Dior, the name Galliano has certainly sparked emotion from the public. While some think he should never be allowed back in the fashion industry others show forgiveness and welcome him back, but whatever your opinions, lets have a look at his latest work.
To me, I believe that John Galliano re-entering the fashion industry isn't an issue of 'forgiving and forgetting' but moving on and accepting mistakes, evolving round them.
When John gave his finale bow on the stage he was a different person, and I think thats what it's all about, whilst no one is making excuses for him, least of all himself, he is starting a new chapter. Whether people choose to read it is a different matter.
